Statement of Need
The purpose of this activity is to enhance knowledge concerning the treatment of patients with MM.

Target Audience
The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of physicians, nurses, and pharmacists involved in the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma (MM).

Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the clinical impact of skeletal-related events on survival and quality of life in patients with MM
• Review current evidence-based guidelines for the management of bone disease associated with MM
• Summarize recent clinical data on the use of bisphosphonates and targeted agents for patients with MM and skeletal-related events
